BLS Provider CPR
If you are a healthcare professional who needs your BLS/CPR certification, Advanced College offers a CPR continuing education course specifically for that purpose. Our CPR course is a Continuing Education Course and is not an accredited course. It is intended for medical professionals.
The class is approximately 4.5 hours in length. Students who pass the AHA CPR test will receive the BLS/CPR card, valid for two years upon completion. If students do not pass the test, dependent on their score they may not qualify for certification.
The American Heart Association designed the Basic Life Support Class to prepare healthcare professionals to perform CPR both inside and outside of a hospital setting. This course includes training on both team and individual roles for providing high-quality CPR
This course trains participants to promptly recognize the signs of cardiac arrest, deliver high-quality compressions, deliver appropriate and adequate ventilation, as well as provide initial use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) as part of a team and as an individual.
This class covers not only adult but child, and infant rescue techniques as well.
Classes are held Wednesday’s at 10 AM at AC;s Modesto Campus. $55 Per participant (includes CPR Card)
